Daytona Beach embraces The Children's Movement of Florida

An enthusiastic and extremely responsive crowd just joined us at our Milk Party rally in Daytona Beach.
A high school drum line. A children's choir from the Boys and Girls Club that sang an original song they wrote themselves. Comedian Chad Shapiro. Rousing speeches from Dave Lawrence, Sergio Bendixen, Vance Aloupis and others. Many bursts of spontaneous applause.
A measure of the responsiveness: Nearly half the crowd sent us text messages from the rally, essentially joining the movement by sharing their contact information. That is a nearly unprecedented response rate, experts tell us.
Next stop: Dr.Phillips High School in Orlando. Tuesday, 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m.
Join us there. And please join The Children's Movement of Florida.
We need you. Our state's children need you.
To stay in touch, text the word MILK to 56333.
See you in Orlando, and elsewhere around the state.
