Family Network on Disabilities of Manasota will hold its annual conference on Saturday, September 17. This year’s conference will focus on Response to Instruction/Intervention (RtI). Although RtI is often associated only with children with special needs, educators actually use it with all students, to provide additional educational support whenever a child needs it.

This day-long conference offers parents, educators, and administrators an introduction RtI. One of the field’s foremost experts, Dr. Shelby Robertson, will guide attendees through the tiers of RtI, how exceptional student education (ESE) is changing, and what parents can do if they are concerned about their children’s performance.

Registration is open to everyone – not just residents of Sarasota and Manatee Counties.
