Heading to Tallahassee!

Tomorrow will be my first venture to our state’s capital. Now that I have lived in the sunshine state for over a year, it is about time I experience Tallahassee firsthand. My reason for trekking up North - The Children’s Movement will be hosting our first Legislative Reception for 2011. This gives us an informal opportunity to connect our regional leaders from around the state with our legislators.

Many organizations that support our work have been to Tallahassee over the years for similar events. I experienced Ohio’s state capital during my tenure in the Midwest, but I have heard things are done a little differently down South.
