Help us hold Governor Scott to his word

The governor recently stated that school funding was important: "I’m confident that most of us agree that school funding is far more important than spending these dollars on alligator marketing, or boat racing or anything else that the Tallahassee insiders think is so important.”
If this is the case, we believe he should restore the $30 million cut from Florida's already underfunded pre-K program. It seems like the obvious and right thing to do. Research and experts alike have shown over and over again that the quality of the early learning experience is critical. And, we all know as Danyiel Louis of Pompano Beach says: “Invest now or invest later” Read what VPK means to her family.
