Opinion: Restore state funds for early childcare

Letters to the Editor, Miami Herald -- Maria Alonso, board chair of The Children’s Trust and Octavio A. Verdeja Jr., board chair of the Early Learning Coalition of Miami-Dade/Monroe speak for the 15,000 children who will now be excluded from Florida's statewide School Readiness program due to budget cuts that resulted from this past legislative session.
Do you think it's OK that the Florida Legislature decided to sacrifice almost $90 million in critical childcare funds?
