Possible funding cuts for popular children's programming

Did you know that public television stations air more than 60 hours per week of standards-based programming for pre-school children? In addition to the popular children’s programming, WPBT2 operates KidVision VOK, an online professional development program for VPK teachers to earn CEUs. And it is also a popular video resource for public school teachers in the classroom.
Despite the quality programming produced by and broadcast on public television, there is serious concern that the Governor is poised to veto public broadcasting state funding.
