This piece stemmed from an interview in which Greta Van Sustern of Fox News shared her thoughts with Rep. Tim Ryan concerning the effectiveness of Head Start. Van Sustern's criticism of the program was based on the academic performance of 8th graders in Washington D.C Rep. Ryan responded by stating "for every dollar we invest in Head Start, we get $5 to $7 back into our economy."
