Thank You North Florida...

Hello to all!

First off, I would like to give a special thanks to all CMF supporters in the North Florida Region ( Pensacola, Panama City, Tallahassee, Gainesville, & Jacksonville) of the state. 

I would also like to thank you for your hard work last week, individually contacting Governor Rick Scott, Senate President Mike Haridopolis, & House Speaker Dean Cannon.

Unforutnately, the big picture has become crystal clear. That is -- our legislative leadership (including a majority of the members in the House & Senate) continue to turn their backs on funding the health, education and well-being of Florida's Children - and hence the future of our state.

It is now our job to stand-up for the children who our State Government refuses to fight for - as they continue to balance the budget by cutting program's that benefit our youngest, most vulnerable citizens.

I truly admire each of you and look forward to hearing your ideas, opinions and feedback on this and the challenges ahead over the next couple weeks.

And I will promise to keep you posted with our post-session strategy and goals for the second semester of 2011.
