Thank You Central Florida Supporters...

The appropriations bill was placed on legislators' desks last night at 10:16pm, which means that the session will end on time this Friday, May 6th. I wanted to thank all those in Central Florida who have reached out to our legislators to drive home the importance of supporting children's issues. The funding for priorities such as mentoring and the voluntary pre-kindergarten program may not be as high as all of us would like, but we are pleased with the increased funding for KidCare. Keep up the good work in your communities!
