I would like to share a parenting blog that I discovered today on the Tampa Bay Online website. Today’s post, Roughhouse Your Way to Good Parenting, really struck a chord with me. Over the years, the front hallway in our house has served as a baseball diamond, a football field, a tricycle track, a soccer field, and countless other major sporting venues. I learned long ago that I needed to just move all breakable objects out of the way.
And now I’m finding out from TBO.com blogger Courtney Cairns Pastor that researchers also know what I figured out years ago: that all this chaos that my husband and kids have created at our front door is actually great parenting on the part of my husband!
