Voluntary Pre-K Makes a Difference

According to an article in Orlando Sentinal, Florida's Pre-K program has a positive impact on preparing children for school:

"About 74 percent of students who completed Florida's pre-K program last year were deemed "ready" when they started school in August. That compares to about 52 percent of the kids who did not attend the state program as 4-year-olds."
