Please help to insure 40,000 children through the KidCare program!
Even with all the budget challenges in Tallahassee, our state still has the opportunity to provide health insurance to 40,000 children who would otherwise be uninsured. (Just imagine a baseball stadium filled with children.)
The Medicaid Reform package moving through the Senate includes language that would require the application for Florida's free- and reduced-lunch program to serve also as an application for Florida KidCare.
This matters because it instantly increases the number of children with access to KidCare. Now is the time for the followers of The Children's Movement of Florida to call and e mail our representatives and senators and strongly urge that this KidCare language be kept in the final version of the Medicaid Reform package.
