The Poll of Florida Parents

A poll of 1,000 registered voters to gauge support Florida parents had for the mission of The Children's Movement of Florida and our first five focus issues. The results show an overwhelming majority support the specific issues that are our top focus.

A poll of 1,515 likely voters in Florida of the six issues raised in early 2009 gatherings of Florida leaders. The results showed two rising to the top and both with significant statewide support.

The Miami Children's Initiative

One of the wonderful organizations that The Children’s Movement has had the opportunity to partner with over the past several months is the Miami Children’s Initiative, a comprehensive ten-year community development project for Liberty City with the intentions of replicating the renowned Harlem Children’s Zone (HCZ), a proven model of success in transforming a tough, violent, underperforming urban community into a desirable place to live and raise a family.
