Pre-K Prepares Kids For Learning, Reading

"Kindergarten teacher Jeanna Rowell said when students come to her having attending Pre-K, it saves about two months of instruction. 'When they come just recognizing the letters and sounds, I can take them to building words and reading, which leads to fluency,' she said. 'It follows all the way up the line, and it makes them ready for first and second grade.'"
