Dr. Terry L. Collier: Director of development and special projects at St. Petersburg College

Ted Granger, Tallahassee Chair

"The Children’s Movement of Florida is motivated to do one thing: “Be the voice of children.” Children who have their basic life needs met, as outlined in the initiatives of The Children’s Movement of Florida, are more likely to succeed in life as an adult. As a marriage and family therapist educated and trained in early childhood development, I could share hundreds of stories that would attest why many adults fail in physical health, social adjustment, relational failure and financial stability. The movement is important to me because it stands for prevention, which prevention is an investment in our future."
