Nicole Renee Renguso a native Floridian, holds two bachelor of arts degrees from the University of South Florida in anthropology and sociology. She began her career in child welfare in 2002, serving as a child protective investigator with the Florida Department of Children and Families through a pilot project in collaboration with Community Partners.
Nicole later transitioned to Hillsborough Kids broadening her knowledge of child welfare and the community’s needs by working as a judicial specialist, contract manager and quality assurance specialist until 2010.
In June 2010, Nicole accepted a position as a contract specialist with Eckerd Youth Alternatives for Pinellas and Pasco counties and has since been promoted to supervisor of contract management. She manages the case management and adoptions as well as independent living contracts and provides technical assistance as needed throughout the circuit’s care system. Nicole also participates in multiple community workgroups and committees so as to improve the lives of children and families in the Tampa Bay area.
