Florida is a national leader in access to early childhood education, but falls short in providing a high-quality learning environment for all children.
Research shows that 90 percent of brain growth occurs by age 5. Yet Florida spends less than 1 percent of its annual budget on programs that impact children during those formative years.
They deserve better. More resources are needed to improve quality and access to preschool education, provide health care for every child; and help parents by developing support systems for raising children.
Join thousands of fellow Floridians in insisting that elected state leaders make children their top priority. By doing that, Florida can be the best state in the nation for young children.
