Director of Strategic Partnerships
Chanelle oversees the Movement’s strategic fundraising efforts to increase individual and institutional philanthropy in early childhood education. Her passion for educational achievement stems from her belief that education is the single most important pathway to attaining lifelong self-sufficiency.
Prior to joining the Movement, Chanelle served as the Business Operations Manager for Bal Harbour Village. She has also served as the Associate Director of University Relations for the National Black MBA Association where she forged mutually beneficial partnerships with colleges, universities, foundations and companies to provide student members with greater access to educational funding, leadership development and career opportunities. Chanelle nurtured relationships with several of the organization’s strategic partners including Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Delta Air Lines, Nationwide, Ford Motor Company, Target, and PNC Financial.
While pursuing her graduate studies, Chanelle served as a Research Associate for the Amherst H. Wilder Foundation where she evaluated the foundation's direct service programs across the health and human services areas of early childhood, education, homelessness and mental health. As part of her graduate capstone project, she worked with a student consulting team to develop a policy proposal in support of increased Out-of-School Time funding for the Minneapolis Youth Coordinating Board.
Chanelle received her B.S. in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and earned her Master of Public Policy degree with a concentration in Public & Nonprofit Management from the University of Minnesota.
Born and raised outside of Milwaukee, WI, Chanelle spends her free time traveling, enjoying live music and mentoring young people. She lives in Pembroke Pines with her husband, Quentin.
