Bio
Ayrax Morales is our intern for the spring term. She was raised in Buffalo, NY, and graduated from Canisius University with her Bachelor's in Political Science. She relocated to Florida and is currently a student at Barry University School of Law in Orlando. She has a passion for child advocacy and hopes to become a family attorney.
Ayrax has experience in early education through her work as an early childhood educator and first-grade teacher assistant. She enjoys working with younger children and understands the value of early education. Ayrax also has experience as a dependency case manager working directly with children in foster care. In this position, she witnessed the impact that lack of resources has on families. She was drawn to The Children's Movement for the community impact being made through education and policy to advocate for the well-being of children.
Outside of work, Ayrax loves exploring new cafes in town, photography, going to the beach, and spending time with loved ones.
