Bio
Anna Corman, a Tampa Bay native, joined Hillsborough Education Foundation in 2017 and took on the role of President & CEO in April 2024. Anna is a passionate non-profit leader with 10+ years of experience supporting youth and community development initiatives on a local and global level. She earned her B.A. in International Affairs from the University of South Florida and went on to join the Peace Corps, where she served in Kyrgyzstan for 2 years as a teacher and facilitator. In addition to her B.A., Anna holds an M.S. in Global Technology & Development from Arizona State University, and is an alumni of Leadership Florida’s Education Class 8 and a graduate of Leadership Tampa’s Class of ’23.
Anna also serves on various advisory boards and committees that serve Hillsborough County, such as Hillsborough County Public School's Literacy Task Force, the Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s Community Advisory Board, LEAP Tampa Bay's Leadership Council, and the board of Arts4All Florida. She also has volunteered as a mentor with Take Stock in Children for the past 8 years. In her free time, Anna loves to travel and spend time with her family.
