Bosses for Babies

How This Boss Makes an Impact for Children in Florida

As the world’s largest management-side employment and labor law practice, Littler understands its success can only be achieved by hiring people across the full spectrum of diversity, which is why they offer a broad range of benefits to promote healthy lifestyles and families and support a diverse team of attorneys and professional staff. Littler has been widely lauded for its inclusive culture and benefits, which includes recognition from Seramount (formerly Working Mother Media) as a Best Law Firm for Women and Diversity for 15 years.

Littler offers very generous, gender-neutral paid parental leave. Additional unpaid leave is available to primary caregivers, as are options for reduced schedules and flexible full-time hours. Other benefits include coverage for fertility treatments as well as postpartum supplies and support, prenatal and postnatal care and support, an adoption and surrogacy reimbursement program, nursing rooms at all U.S. locations, and a “mindful return” online course for new parents.

As a part of its commitment to supporting attorneys who are also parents and caregivers, we formed the Parenting at Littler (PALs) initiative in 2020. Resources include facilitated discussion groups, pairing new parents with a parent mentor, and additional childcare and education support benefits. In 2021, PALs rolled out various Employee Resource Groups to build a network to share experiences, stories, and other resources. Littler also provides referral resources including assistance with finding childcare, eldercare, pet care, and/or convenience care.
