Katie Roders Turner is the Executive Director of the Family Healthcare Foundation, a Tampa Bay nonprofit dedicated to the belief that everyone deserves access to affordable healthcare coverage. With over two decades of public sector experience, Katie is a distinguished expert in health policy, human services program development, public affairs, and nonprofit management. Regularly featured on major media outlets like NPR and CNN, as well as local platforms such as ABC Action News and the Tampa Bay Times, Katie's voice is pivotal in public health program enrollment discussions, and advocating for equitable access to high-quality, affordable healthcare for all ages. 

Rooted in civic service, Katie's leadership is shaped by her foundational experiences as a Peace Corps Volunteer, a Global Health intern with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), an AmeriCorps Nevada Conservation Corps member, a Ryan White Medical Case Manager, and a home health care provider for consumers with developmental disabilities; all of these guide her unwavering commitment to healthcare equity.
